Ski area Rangger Köpfl

With the lift pass "Rangger Köpfl" you have access to 17 km of pistes, which stretch over a difference in altitude of 1,200 m. The small and family-friendly ski area is located approx. 15 km western of Innsbruck. Highly recommended is the impressive and scenic 9 km long valley run from Rangger Köpfl to Stiglreith. Easy to medium-level pistes that are always superbly prepared appeal to all skiers who are not yet entirely sure on their skis.

Families profit from the relatively flat pistes, and the first turns can be practised in the "Kids Park" at the Rangger Köpfl with a magic carpet. Snowboarders will also get their money's worth in the fun park with a half-pipe.

Night skiing Oberperfuss

For some skiers, night skiing is a special experience, and many ski areas in Austria open up their illuminated pistes in at night. Oberperfuss also offers the opportunity to use the ski area in the evening. At Rangger Köpfl, there are 2.5 km of night ski pistes. The 8-person gondla "Peter Anich" takes you to the mountain station on Stiglreith (1,400 m), and from there you can take the Sulzstich lift up to an altitude of 1,650 m. From here, the valley run down to Oberperfuss is illuminated for night skiing. The operation times are Tuesdays and Fridays from 18:30 to 21:20 until the beginning of March. Not only skiers will get their money's worth: night tobogganing is also available at Rangger Köpfl.

Après ski Oberperfuss

In Oberperfuss there are cosy mountain huts, bars, and taverns in which a successful day can festively fade away. Anyone wanting to top off their day's skiing with sports activities can take part in night skiing twice a week. Furthermore, the village has a 10 km long tobogganing run, and the breathtaking landscape can be savoured on countless winter hiking trails. Or try exploring the area on snowshoes!

Party enthusiasts looking for more options and culture buffs should head to Innsbruck, approx. 15 km away. Tyrol's capital offers a plethora of clubs, discos, and trendy bars, as well as a wide variety of theatres, cinemas, museums, restaurants and concerts.

Snowpark: Rangger Köpfl Oberperfuss

The ski region "Olympia World Innsbruck" and especially the ski areas "Glungezer" and "Rangger Köpfl" are not only great due to their spectacular descents. There are many possibilities for freestyle fans and everyone from beginner to pro will experience an unforgettable experience at a high altitude. The "Glungezerparks" with 4 different areas, 3 of which can be found at the Schartenkogel lift and 1 at the Halsmarter lift, offer an easy and a kids line. They comprise 4 - 5 m boxes, rails, and a rainbow box, which all invite you to try your first jumps and also offers advanced riders the possibility to improve their moves. Pros, on the other hand, get together at the identically named "Pro Line", which convinces with 5 - 6 m down pipelines, a 12 m kinked elbow, a 7 m jib tank, and many more obstacles.

All those who don't have phenomenally high expectations regarding the park's set up, will be fully satisfied at the Snowpark Oberperfuss. A manageable amount of kickers, rails, slides, and boxes offers enough variety for a quick detour and perfectly completes the offers of both areas!
