Ski area Rosskopf

Ski area Rosskopf

The Rosskopf is the sun-spoiled, local ski mountain in Sterzing and the valley station is only approx. 5 minutes on foot away from the resort centre. The four lifts give you an easy access to the ski area which is situated on a height of 948 - 2,176 m, offering a beautiful panoramic view of the Dolomites. Here you can loot forward to a total of approx. 17 km of fun on the pistes.

The ski area offers mostly easy and intermediate piste and is popular among pleasure skiers. Families appriciate the children's ski school which has been awarded with a Gold seal of quality. The ski areas Ladurns (approx. 10 km) and Ratschings (approx. 12 km) can also be reached easily, where further lift passes can be purchased.

With the lift pass upgrade "Südtiroler Wipptal" there are further 57 km of piste on offer, on the sunny slopes of Rosskopf, Ratschings-Jaufen and Ladurns ski areas.

Après ski Sterzing

After a day on skis in Sterzing you can relax in one of the cosy huts in the ski area or in one of the numerous traditional restaurants in the resort centre. You will even find a gourmet restaurant enticing you with culunary highlights. The history pedestrian's zone invites you to take extensive shopping strolls in snowy alleyways.

Away from the pistes, the picturesque small town has more to offer than a good cuisine and shopping facilities. For example you will find the longest floodlit toboggan run in Italy which can also be covered in artificial snow: the toboggan run at Rosskopf, which was elected winner in tests by the ADAC. In the ice hall, guests can also try out their skills on ice. A little slower, but all the more romatic hours can be spent on the winter hiking paths around the resort. If you want to give your muscles a break, you can let yourself be spoiled in the modern, 1,120 m² large sauna and spa area "Balneum".

Snowpark: Snowpark Sterzing

This area unfortunately doesn't have a snow park. The most spectacular park in Italy can be found in Livigno.
