Cross-country Sluderno

In Vinschgau, cross-country skiers can choose between 109 km well-groomed trails prepared for classic or skating-style Nordic skiing. Possibly the sunniest and most popular trail in the regions leads through the cross-country centre Schlinging, near Malles Venosta. The Nordic ski centre was host of the 2008 junior cross-country skiing world championship and has a 15 km long trail that leads to Schliniger Alm. The trail bridges 150 m of altitude and, with its intermediate level, is perfect for nearly all levels of skill. At Reschenpash, Taufers im Münstertal or Sulden, Nordic skiers with find further easy to demanding trails. The cross-country trails can be used for a locally payable fee.
