Ski area Pejo
The Pejo 3000 ski area is located on the flanks of the Monte Vioz. The entry point is located in the resort district of Pejo Fonti, which lies around 4 km away from Cogolo di Pejo and is well connected with the ski bus. The pistes stretch from 1,200 m up to 3,000 m and are accessible through seven lifts. The majority of the 20 km of piste are of a medium difficulty, though some blue and black slopes mean that the ski area is suitable for skiers of all abilities. The 100-person cabin lift "Pejo 3000" transports winter sports fans from the middle station Tarlenta to the highest point in the ski area. From here, a fantastic panoramic view of the Ortler-Ceverdale group opens up before you. A red slope leads back down to the other pistes, which are also marked as red. In the lower area of slopes, two blue pistes can be found. Three mountain restaurants take care of lunchtime.
Around half of the pistes can be covered with artificial snow, including the red valley slope. This slope is also the longest in the ski area, leading down to the valley station over a whole 8 km. In the lower section, it levels off into a blue piste. In addition to this, the black slope no. 3 leads from the mountain station of the 6-person gondola lift "Cabinovia" down to the valley. For the pros there are another 3 ski routes in addition to the 13 prepared slopes, each between 500 m and 2.5 m long.
Families with children can enjoy themselves in the carefully arranged children's area directly at Cogolo di Pejo. There is a tow lift located here that allows for access to the 500 m long blue practice slope "Biancaneve". Nearby, there is also the "Biancaneve Snowpark", a large snow play area for children, with a magic carpet, carousel and snow-tubing run. Twice a week, the area is also open in the evening from 20:00 to 22:00 and illuminated with floodlights.
With the "Superskirama" upgrade, you have access to 8 ski areas with a total of 380 kilometres of pistes (incl. free ride pistes) and 150 lifts in the region. In addition to the "Pejo" ski area, you will find various pistes in Pontedilegno Tonale, Folgarida-Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Monte Bondone, among others. Every winter sport enthusiast will find something here!

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.
Night skiing Pejo
The ski areas in Italy offer just as much fun and entertainment on the pistes as those in the neighbouring Alpine countries, including such activities as night-skiing. In Trentino, night skiing is also very popular. In the ski area Pejo 3000, the "Mezoli" piste, around 1 km long, is illuminated in the evenings twice a week. The slope is located in the centre of the ski area at the 2-person chair lift Mezoli. The extended opening hours of the lift go from 20:45 to 22:45. Directly beside the slope, the mountain restaurant Scoiattolo offers a nice place for a break. In addition, the children's area at the tow lift Cogolo di Pejo is also open in the evenings twice a week. From 20:00 to 22:00 the practice slope in the ski area is illuminated with floodlighting. Everyone that has a lift pass that is valid for multiple days can take part in Pejo's night-skiing opportunities for free.Après ski Pejo
In the family-friendly ski area Pejo 3000 après ski is not neglected - even if its only present to a smaller degree. The ski huts Lo Scoiattolo in the centre of the pistes is an inviting place for an afternoon stop with the Open-Air-Bar. A good atmosphere is the priority here and there's often the chance to get dancing on the wooden sun terrace.
After a day of skiing, its a cosy atmosphere in Pejo. Several shops make for a good place to take a stroll and the restaurants serve up delicious regional dishes. In Pejo Cogolo, as well as near to the entry point to the lift in Pejo Fonti, child-friendly ice-skating rinks can be found. Particularly fun for kids is a trip with the "mini car", a miniature racing car on a small ice obstacle course next to the ice-skating rink in Pejo Cogolo.
For those interested in the cultural heritage and history of the resort, there is a church covered in frescos, a castle ruin and a folklore museum to visit in Pejo. Thanks to the bubbling healing springs, Pejo is also known as a spa resort. Multiple thermal baths and spas offer numerous spa treatments and baths. The "Terme di Pejo", located in Pejo Fonti, is one of the largest thermal baths.
Furthermore, the Stelvio National Park offers almost unlimited opportunities to be active in and amongst nature. Guided snow shoe hikes and winter hikes are particularly popular. Five different Nordic Walking routes are also prepared in the Pejo valley. The surrounding area can be easily explored with the electric train "Dolomiti Express", which travels through the Val di Sole.

Snowpark: Pejo Sunpark Pejo
Since the winter season 2016/17 there is a snow park in the Pejo 3000 ski area. The "Pejo Sunpark" is located at an altitude of around 1,500 m at the also newly opened Saroden piste, a red slope at the Saroden chair lift. The park's 300 m long line offers everything a freestyler's heart desires: a 6 m flat box, 6 m rainbow box, 6 m buttler box, 6 m rail, 3 m and 4 m kinked box, as well as jumps of different heights between 3 and 8 m. For children there is a Kids Easy Park in the Dosso del Blanco area with a 3 m box and a mini-kicker.
