Information on cross-country skiing
28 km km of cross-country tracks:
Each of the villages in the Zillertal has its own cross-country trails. In total, this creates a network of approx. 125 km in length. Around Tux you will find about 28 km of well groomed trails, some of which are also in skating style.
The longest trail, the Luggi-Gredler trail, leads you from Tux-Vorderlanersbach to Madseit. Due to its altitude of 1,300 m to 1,450 m, it is still passable when it is already thawing elsewhere. On presentation of the Tux-Finkenberg ticket, the shuttle between Mayrhofen and Hintertux can be used as a free transfer.
