The vast selection of pistes appeals to all levels of winter sports skill, yet especially pros and experts will feel well catered for here. Highly modern lifts ensure a smooth-running operations. The "Panorama" lift takes you fast from Kapell right up to the Grasjoch, from where you can get to the Hochjoch Totale, the longest valley run in Vorarlberg, with 12 km and an altitude difference of 1700 m. The 8-person gondola is 2,370 m long and therefore the longest gondola for sports activities in the region - and also one of the fastest: this lift covers the total distance of 2,375 m in only 8 minutes! Besides wide pistes, the ski area Montafon also offers another highlight with the "Nike Snowpark". This is one of the largest snow parks in Austria and offers a perfect destination for all freestylers. Equipped with rails, boxes, rollers, hips and kickers of all levels of difficulty, every freestyler is sure to find the right line here. Good skiers will additionally find a range of challenging pistes, whereby the freeride slopes around the Hochjoch are especially recommendable. It is not for nothing that the "Freeride World Tour" was hosted at the Hochjoch once. A new highlight is Austria's first freeride cross. Located directly next to the snowpark, the 800 m long funslope "Freda Bahn" offers a great mix of banks, jumps, a tunnel and natural obstacles - and absolute must for the whole family! The Novatal is also therefore perfectly suited for freeriding beginners, and is an inviting place to give it a first try.
