Ski area Kitzbühel

The "Kitzbühel" lift pass, with its 185 km of piste (230 km with ski routes!), offers perfect skiing pleasure for beginners, experts, pros and families alike. A total of 57 lifts bring you comfortably to the pistes on the Gaisberg, Pengelstein, Hahnenkamm, Kitzbüheler Horn and Resterhöhe mountains as well as up to an altitude of 2,000 m. Equipped with the most modern snow-making facilities, the Kitzbühel ski area makes sure to continuously tend to their piste conditions. Acces can be found in Hollersbach or Pass Thurn.

The main attractions are the speed runs, carving runs and slalom runs, but a real treat is a ride along the steepest run in the world, the "Streif" – an absolute must for passionate winter sports fans! It's here where the traditional Hahnenkamm race takes place each year. The Ganslernhang, one of the last classic slalom pistes in world championship games, is a very popular run. With the 3S lift, a great ski circus came into being, and allows for a real ski safari from Kirchberg over to Kitzbühel and Jochberg, and all the way to the Resterhöhe ski arena in Pass Thurn!

The Kitzbühel snow park is a true boarder's paradise: with a quarter pipe, tables, slides and jumps, snowboarders will surely be able to get the blood pumping while showing off what they've got. For families, easy runs can be found on the Gaisberg, Ehrenbachhöhe and Pengelstein mountains. Around the Bichlalm, Pengelstein and Steinbergkogel mountains, you'll also find numerous marked ski routes of all levels of difficulty as well as gorgeous deep snow runs off-piste. For those who just can't get enough, skiing by floodlight is quite a pleasant way to spend those last few minutes.

Something a little extra for guests: the ski area offers over 40 free Wi-Fi hotspots! After just a few easy to manage steps, you can access the Internet and share your favourite moments with your loved ones back home.

Après ski Mühlbach im Pinzgau

Sporty diversity away from the pistes can be found on winter hikes, horse-drawn sleigh rides and on the ice. Especially interesting is the world's probably longest toboggan run at the Wildkogel. The starting point is easily reached with the Wildkogel lift, followed by a winding decsent right down to Bramberg covering a distance of 14 km and altitude difference of 1,300 m. Generally you will find Mühlbach being a little quieter than other resorts, however if you still don't want to miss out on après ski you can just pay a visit to Neukirchen. There will find an opportunity to shake a leg, for instance in the "Pinzgauer Kanne" or the "Almbar".

Snowpark: Kitzbühel Mühlbach im Pinzgau

With freestylers, Kitzbühel can score with two snoparks at one. At Kitzbüheler Horn the Snowpark Horn awaits you. Whether beginners or more experienced freestylers, everyone will get the chance to let off steam at kickers, rails, boxes and jib elements.

The next stop is the snowpark in the south of the ski area, at Hanglalm, which is a real jewel among snowparks. The park's designer Franz Lechner and his team of 9 put all their expertise and creativity into the daily maintenance of the area, guaranteeing a top quality and the newest technologies. Kickers and rails in all levels of skill await you just like tubes, a tank and a picknicker. You will find a total of 36 obstacles where you can perfect your skills. The shapers come up with a new setup every season so that they're always the first to come up with innovations.
