Igls

The idyllic and hospitable village Igls lies at the foot of Innsbruck's local mountain "Patscherkofel" at around 900 m altitude and very close to the town Innsbruck. Leave the daily routine behind and enjoy your holidays in front of a beautiful mountain scenery. Next to the family-friendly ski are at the local mountain you have the possibility to go ice skating, tobogganing or cross-country skiing.

The surrounding winter hiking tracks await with some marvellous unspoilt nature. Igls and the Patscherkofel have hosted the Winter Olympics on several occasions so you could e.g. visit the Olympic bobsleigh run or the famous ski jump "Bergisel" (approx. 3 km away). This perfect mix of activity and relaxation is especially suited for families and guarantees a recreational time for everyone.
