Ski area Kitzbühel

With 188 kilometres of piste, the "Kitzbühel" lift pass offers perfect ski enjoyment. 49 lifts bring you comfortably to the pistes on Gaisberg, Pengelstein, Hahnenkamm, Kitzbüheler Horn and Resterhöhe, and up to 2,000 m.

The speed, carving and slalom slopes are special attractions, with the highlight being the steepest competitive slope in the world, the Streif - a must for passionate winter athletes! This also where the annual Hahnenkamm race takes place. With the 3S cable car a fantastic interconnected ski area has been created, which offers you the opportunity to use the pistes from Krichberg, via Kitzbühel and Jochberg, right up to the Skiarena Resterhöhe in Pass Thurn. The Kitzbühel Snowpark is a true boarders paradise: with kickers, quarter-pipe, slides and rails, freestylers' hearts will definitely beat faster. The easy runs on Gaisberg, Ehrenbachhöhe and Pengelstein are ideal for families. All around Bichlalm, Pengelstein and Steinbergkogel, there are numerous marked ski routes for all skill levels, as well as excellent deep-powder runs off-piste.

A special highlight in this ski area are the 50 free Wi-Fi hotspots it offers for all its visitors! Only a few easy steps are required to access the Internet and you can instantly supply your friends and family with your holiday news and photos.

For those who live for variety, we recommend the "Super Ski Card" lift pass (see ski region), which is also valid in the ski areas of e.g. Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, Schneewinkel, "Ski Juwel" (Alpbachtal-Wildschönau), Skiregion Dachstein West and Zell am See - Kaprun. With this, you gain access to 22 ski regions in Tyrol and Salzburg along 2,780 km of pistes, ensuring unlimited fun on the pistes!

Après ski Hollersbach

The bars at the valley station as well as those in Hollersbach and Neukirchen entice you in to have a drink. A hot tip is the "Panoramaalm" on the 2,000 m peak; along the lines of "nomen est omen", you can enjoy an awe-inspiring view of the Hohe Tauern. In the evenings, it's time to head for the bars in town. If that's not enough for you, you should definitely take a detour to the nearby Kitzbühel and immerse yourself in the international and lively nightlife.

During the day you can find a number of interesting activities in Hollersbach: from horse-drawn sleigh rides to winter hiking, ice skating, tobogganing (on the floodlit toboggan run), right down to paragliding. What you certainly should not miss is a speedy descent on the longest tobogganing run in the Alps: from the Wildkogel it takes you down over 14 km length back to Bramberg.

Snowpark: Snowpark Horn Hollersbach

Kitzbühel attracts freestylers for 2 reasons: the snow parks "Horn" and the "Mercedes-Benz Snowpark". At the Kitzbüheler Horn there is the snow park "Horn" awaiting you. Beginners and pros alike have the chance to run riot on kickers, rails, boxes and jib elements.

On to the snowpark in the south of the ski area, the KitzSki Snowpark Hanglalm, an absolute crown jewel among the snowparks. Park designer Franz Josef Lechner and his team of 9 men put all their expertise and creativity into the maintenance of the park every day to guarantee freestylers top quality and the latest technology. Kickers and rails in all levels of ability await you in the park as well as boxes, tubes, jibs and a special. In total there are 35 obstacles, where you can improve your skills. In order to always be at the forefront of innovation, the shapers come up with a new set-up every season.
