Ski area Klippitztörl
With the TopSkiPass Kärnten und Osttirol GOLD, you have the possibility to do ski -hopping during your stay: the ski pass is valid in a total of 31 ski areas in Carinthia and East Tyrol. What a selection!
The "Klippitztörl" ski area, with its 28 km of pistes and 6 lifts, provides you with wonderful skiing pleasure. Thanks to the easy and medium-difficulty pistes, the manageable ski area is especially popular with beginners and families. In the "Bärenwald" ("bear forest"), there are children's pistes and lifts for the little skiers and even a children's park, as well as the "Klippi Pippi Kiddy-Slope" with steep curves, tunnels, wave tracks and figures. The first days on skis will definitely be a success! Of course, carving and freestyle courses are also offered for experienced skiers.
Along with versatility, snow reliability is a decisive criterion for the modern "Klippitztörl" ski area. The generously distributed snow-making facilities guarantee assured winter sports fun until spring.

If you want to go for a drink after a long day on skis, you will not come off badly in Bad St. Leonhard. Numerous cosy huts and restaurants in and nearby the ski area welcome you. "Moselebauerhütte" spoils visitors with traditional Carinthian dishes directly in the ski area. Plenty of high-quality restaurants can also be found in the resort centre, such as e.g. the restaurant "Zum Bären".
If you want to get active in the afternoon, you can participate in GPS-tracked snow shoe hiking trips and explore the surroundings, or get back up the mountain with a toboggan. Ice rinks and curling tracks are also available.
You are interested in a cultural programme and travel by car? The medieval Old Town of Graz can be reached by car within an hour. Here you can take the mountain railway up to the centuries old clock tower.
