Ski area Loser-Altaussee

The lift pass "Loser-Altaussee" gives you access to 33 km of piste and 8 lifts. All 6-person chairlifts have a cover and warm, comfortable padding, so that they offer shelter in every type of weather. The ski area at Loser (850 - 1,800 m) mainly has easy to intermediate pistes, which makes it ideal for beginners and wallowers. Hosting the European cup, the ski area of course also has a FIS piste. The broad pistes offer a lot of space for carving, gliding and taking turns. Modern snow-making systems make skiing fun possible until spring. The fun park is an insiders' tip in the boarder and freerider scene and offers kicker combo, wave rail, job quarter, several jumps and many more obstacles. Loser mountain is known for its wonderful panoramic view over Ausseerland and Salzkammergut regions. Those looking for a little more diversity during holidays are recommended to purchase the lift pass upgrade to the Schneebärenland lift pass. With this lift pass you have access to 5 ski areas with a total of 113 km of piste.

Après ski Altaussee

Altaussee offers different opportunity to explore and experience the surrounding landscapes other than on skis and snowboards.

Leaving the regular trails, you can explore the nature around Altaussee on snow shoes. If you want to aim higher, you can take touring skis instead of the lifts and climb up the mountains in order to get to know the quiet parts of the ski area. All in all, the region has 7 ski tours at different levels of difficulty.

Activities for the whole family are of course also available, such as e.g. "Schlittgoasreiten" (local term for tobogganing) on the natural toboggan run Zlaim at lake Grundl, which is only approx. 15 minutes by car from Autaussee. In Altaussee itself, young and old can try out curling or go ice skating together.

Snowpark: Loserfenster Altaussee

Loser ski area offers a small funpark for beginners and intermediates. The park is approx. 200 m long and has several kickers and rails. The real highlight are the neighbouring Freestyle Areas at Loser. They area a must for every freerider and offer pure action.
